About respectme
respectme, Scotland's Anti-Bullying Service, is funded by the Scottish Government and managed in partnership with SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) and LGBT Youth Scotland.
respectme works with all adults who have a role to play in the lives of children and young people – from parents, carers and teachers to youth workers, support staff and policy makers - to give them the practical skills and confidence to deal with bullying behaviour wherever it occurs.
We aim to build the capacity of all adults to affect change and challenge bullying and stigma at an individual, school, family, community and societal level. We offer free anti-bullying training to adults across Scotland and we work with organisations at a local and strategic level to develop and review anti-bullying policies and practices.
respectme is not a helpline but we work with other organisations who have trained counsellors you can discuss any worries with.
