About ENABLE Scotland

camera_club.jpg

ENABLE Scotland is the country's leading charity for children and adults with learning disabilities.

We campaign on the issues that matter to people with learning disabilities, as well as providing services that enable people to live, work and take part in our communities.

Anti-bullying is one of our main campaign focuses. We have produced research and developed services to tackle the bullying of both children and adults with learning disabilities.

ENABLE Scotland was set up in 1954 by a group of parents and is still run by our members, who are people with learning disabilities, their parents and carers and other people with an interest in learning disability.

To find out more about becoming a member of ENABLE Scotland download our membership leaflet or join us on our website.
